Child is the father of man- My Child, My World!

My child is my world to me....! Bringing up a child takes lots of patience, perseverance and limitless energy. You need to understand his small needs to his bigger expectations. Every child is different from other and for a father; his child is the best creation that has happened in this world. For me, my child is no different. He is the best thing that has happened to me. My kid, Vathsal, is 9 years of age, but is very different from other children of his age. He is mature enough to understand the difference between good and evil; right and wrong. At this young age, he exhibits immense talent and leadership qualities, which I try to imbibe in me. His life revolves around playing Cricket and I see a...

A common theme for battered mothers in divorce proceedings is that they begin thinking they are holding the winning hand when it comes to domestic violence and child custody. They typically are awarded temporary custody of their minor children and may even have protective orders in place. Then, "out of the blue," the tide turns and their children are pulled right from under them—handed over to the custody of their father who is, more often than not, an abuser. It's a devastating blow, like none other. Between the heart-wrenching pain and the primitive rage, little resources remain intact to make sense out of the unconscionable. How Did This Happen? The legal maneuver that yielded their unfortunate...

How Heat Solar Panels Save Energy

In most places there is a lot of sun energy available for household use. While you probably aware of electricity generating solar panels, there is another available option which uses heat (traditional solar panels use light) from the sun. Photovoltaic solar panels generate electricity when sunlight falls on them. Heat solar panels use sun radiation to warm water. They allow you to save money and energy on your heating needs. You know how hot sun can be when you sit down to your car after it's been parked on a sunny day. Heat solar panels work in a similar way. Sun heats the panel and water (or antifreeze) carries this heat from the panel to your home. Warmth from heat solar panels can also be used...

Deciding to form a business entity is often a wise choice for most businesses. What seems simple can quickly become confusing given all the legal jargon. If you want to incorporate, you have a couple of different choices regarding how to go about the process. Let’s take a quick look: 1. The first choice is to do it yourself. In some states, this is a fairly simple process. In others, it is a nightmare. It all really depends on your level of knowledge. 2. Your second choice is to use a cheap online service. They will typically incorporate you for a few hundred bucks, but then you are on your own. They do not provide you with any advice, so you end up with a corporation and have to figure out how to...

Pro bono publico (usually shortened to pro bono) is a phrase derived from Latin meaning “for the public good.” Taken from:    Have you ever freely donated your time to help a relative, friend, work acquaintance, or even the little old lady that lives across from you?  Did it make you feel good to help out those close to you when they needed it most? Were they thankful for your efforts and most importantly your valuable time?   Most of us have been in a “pro bono” situation before where we helped out for FREE. What you may not know or realize is most of the time your actions are not intended for the public good, but more for your own or people close to you self interest.  So let me ask...

All of us hire lawyers at one point or the other. People get sued, arrested, charged for a crime, face business problems and much more. An attorney for legal services is hired by many for their advice and expertise all of the time, in all kinds of legal situations. It is possible that you may be able to get out of a situation without the aid of an attorney; you should always remember that when you represent yourself, you might have a “fool for a client,” as the saying goes. There are distinct categories of attorneys. Like, for example, an attorney mainly dealing with the entertainment business issues is called as a business entertainment legal services attorney. Both in the good and the bad...

Indulge me for a moment while I veer off into the world of fantasy for a moment. The world of make believe, our crazy political world from a Martian’s perspective. In this fantasy, we're a group of explorers from Mars, in human form, who have landed in Washington, D.C. to understand the political system of this continent. As explorers, or anthropologists, what would be our conclusions about the American political system? We would immediately be caught up in the "two sides". One blue, one red. One represented by donkeys, the other, elephants. Two sides. . . how can so many people be divided into just two groups of thought? They can't. There are many philosophies, but only the most powerful are...

The Fed needs to stop bailing out these institutions that can't seem to balance a check book. I know if you or I failed at our business it wouldn't concern anyone but us. No one would come to our rescue. Think of the worst case scenario, if we let the banks fail they would go into bankruptcy and their assets would be auctioned off to the highest bidder which would break up the big conglomerate that has the ability to shake our economy. If you ask me, the reason for this financial mess is one thing and one thing only. The government has aided in letting these companies get so big that they have the ability to scare us with scare tactics of impending doom if we don't throw money at them. They learned...

Antisocial personality disorder is a condition in which people show a pervasive disregard for the law and the rights of others. Basic characteristic which considered chaotic is the deceit and the operation. Therefore it is essential in making the diagnosis to collect material from sources other than the individual being diagnosed. The cause of this disorder is unknown, but biological or genetic factors may play a role. However, the statistical correlation between the disorder and biological factors is weak, leading many experts to believe otherwise. A family history of the disorder - such as having an antisocial parent - increases the chances of developing the condition. A number of environmental...

How about a child? A child can be verbally abused in many ways. Children abusing each other with name calling etc. are common. But worse is verbal abuse by elders. If drugs (including alcohol) are involved, then there is little thinking involved. The thought pattern of abusing parents is usually passed down from one generation to the next. What children observe is more powerful than what they are told. Therefore, if they observe these skewed thought patterns through behavior, they are absorbed quicker. Well, it takes the Ms. Earth slightly longer than 365 days (24 hours each) to make it around Mr. Sun, so we need that extra day to keep the calendar in line. Otherwise, after 100 years we would wind up something like 24 days ahead of the seasons. Now that would mess up my computer calendar! A younger tree would not have rebelled so violently and would have retained most of its leaves. Human beings are a lot like plants: the younger we start teaching them about Jesus and His love, the greater the opportunity for that child to know Jesus--not only as Savior, but also as Lord. I have always believed love was a verb - an active word - a word that required action, not just quotes. What good does it say to say, "I love you" if there are no actions involved? It made me wonder why they thought their experience was so much worse than anyone else's. Pain is pain! I've been thinking about it since Mother's Day, and I'm realizing that many do not really understand what it means to honor their parents!
